Been asking around about a suspicion I had about turning the header of the intake the other way round, and the jury is out.

Yes it will create vortexes that will inhibit the flow of air into the intake

Every blooming time I pulled the Landy out from under the carport to change out the lfe jacket packed in a storage bin on the roofrack ----- It started raining ---

Just managed to get that sorted on Sunday ---- Then it rained --- again -----

Nou net groceries / car-wash / Brandstof / reg om te ry

Finally got down to the last thing --- kos ---- food --- provisions ----

But this time I'm planning things a little differently

Instead of planning 4 or 5 different "meals", then just repeating them for the number of days I'm away, this time I put together a meat list first then planned what to go with the meat

So I put together a meat list, gave it to Pedro (butchery) and am planning what to have with the meat --- GREAT! he will vaccuum pack all individually

I can collect on Saturday

 The mince packs are for Spagettie bol / Cottage pie / Curry-mince - I keep a little left over mince to have with Brunch : Fried eggs & a slice of tomato / toast / and some mince ---- I remember posting in reply regards a toast rack that stops the "gas" smell getting into the bread BTW

Panty-hose ---- Mmmmm the right material ---- But where-oh-where to get a pair ---

See I ain’t going to rush off to pep and buy a pair ---------- No siree not me

And, well as I’m “unattached”  makes that a bit of a problem indeed !

Yes, a locust swarm is one hell of a story, (been-there-done-that) and if you aren’t aware of the clogging of the radiator, could leave you stranded on the side of the road with an overheated engine....

BTW If you do have an overheat, never pour cold water just into the system --- It’s this that causes more of the damage (cracked heads) than just the overheat – which most engines can tolerate a short overheat

Wait at least a half hour before attempting to open the system – be very careful when doing that use a big towel over the cap

When it’s open and stopped bubbling --- start the engine and on idle, bietjie bietjie pour cold water in this would be your best chance of salvaging the situation

MEALS: - Yes you got it, I’ve over catered by +- 30 % -- Why well I have the amazing ability to have a heck of a lot of unplanned journeys with some very surprising destinations, so Just in case I land up in Windhoek I can still eat ---

Very important --- eating that is--------  Unplanned journeys? Oh hell been on so many of those already

Yes I plan to use my Cobb

And my small 1 person skottle

And my army 2 plate stove

And my flat-pack braai

And my Trangia with a spirit burner & a canister upgrade ----

And if the weather is rainy my butaine stove

All else failing, I’ll dig a Dakota firepit

OR – Just use their supplied braai !
