Dankie J early morning post... Just that in Parrallel = 12 V series 24V
Be careful don't connect a 12 V solar panel across the 24V ....

Warren, I beg to differ from your statement;
When batteries are connect parallel, the voltage stays the same (positives to positives - negative to negative), when you connect in series, you increase the voltage with that of each battery you connect.
That is the way I understand it?
