PERHAPS AS OLD AS ME DOUBT ANYONE HERE HAS EVER SEEN ONE

I'm sure that, there will be times that moeder-natuur so bietjie van n hoofpyn kry en haar speelgoed uit haar wig-krip gooi, as I travel down the backroads of where-ever I choose, and cooking up a meal from outside will be just about impossable.

So I've taken my Trangia cooker, and put it with the stuff inside the Landy, and although space is tight, It's wholly possable to cook up a basic meal inside.

The "tranny" runs on Meths, so there isn't the problem of propane fumes, It is also safer that a micro propane burner, because if there is a spillage it will go out, whereas with a propane burner, if it falls over it will continue to burn.

Then, to add to that "indoor-kit" I got this for R10 at at the Walkerville agucultural showgrounds auction. on Saturday, comes from a fella, older'n me! 

Can you believe that? Older than me...................<As he was the "seller" I saw him there, shame selling all his bit's and pieces because he's going to a room in an old age home..>

Now yes it's a bit grubby, but I've got it at work so that that special muti we've got can get in touch with it and get rid of all the grime, and that will make it almost brand spanking new again...

But, it holds exactly 1 and a half of my plus-size mugs of water, so I can boil up, make a cup of hot chockolate and rinse out again.... Perfict!

(I've switched to instant hot chockolate as then I don't have to keep milk as well)... Makes things simpler.

I think it's the cutest - most gorgous character-full little hiking??? tea-kettle I've ever come across... I wonder if it was made by Hart???

The Trangia spirit cooker that comes with it's own mess kit thatt  I was so kindly gifted by SAREL (weerheens Sarel, it's a gift in a thousand) .... It's going back to mobile camping.....
