So my day hiking backpack & cart is now complete, On Sat & Sunday I did some fiddling, Arranged shock-chord ties on the frame of the cart so that I can remove the wheels which makes the whole thing narrower when carrying
While on the subject of wheels, I exchanged the tyres to get rid of the white paint blotches
Added a few tie-on points using bits from what I removed from the cart when I was stripping it,
Mounted the attachment onto a different belt that I had lying around ( comes from an old fire-fighting oxygen bottle harness & has a better mechinism
Generally just fiddles: -
Now come the trials, So this weekend the plan is ---- ZELPIES ----- Me, my platkar, and my backpack ---
I'll set camp for overnighting (tent / sleep system ETC) but take the day equipment for a short hike using the cart --- See how it goes ---
Quite opgewonne
