With only about 12 weekends to go, and at least haslf of those weekends I'll be at my weekend retreat (where I get waited on hand and foot) It's about time I engaged my transfer box and start to get ready for.........................

And how's that going for me? well, so-far, I've: -
Re-covered my kamp-kombuis (Thanks to Canvas & Aluminium Concepts)...... and checked that everything is there.... Missing one spoon from an army pikstel, so I'm running around everywhere looking for a blooming spoon.....
Every blooming flea-market / all over... all I want is the jolly spoon.....
At the same time that I'm looking for one spoon from an army pikstel, I'm ALSO looking for one side for a 5x5 Army tent.... Don't want to spend more than 200 ZUPTAS or so, so a new one or surplus store's out.....
Booked It'l do dat in for a lube service & general look-over, next week sometime...
Old wisdom has it........... NEVER SERVICE YOUR CAR JUST BEFORE YOUR TRIP... Do it some time before, then drive it a while..... Ask me, I know, I did that once and the blooming left front wheel camE off and went down the ruddy N3 like a Doberman pincher after A Gupta...... Long story there.....
Then there's my Solar panel....
Finally managed to save up enough to get it fixed (been saving alll year)................ Last time out, one side got smashed in typical Bloemhof wind storm..... Problem is they don't make that exact size of panel anymore... So that's ones also on the cook.....
Then I'm a bit iffy about the travelling layout inside my camper, but to sort it out gonna cost me 800 - 1000 of my precious Zuptas...
What I ACTUALLY need to do is ditch the double bed matress and get another single bed 3 division Howling moon one.. (one is just a touch too thin.... I'm old and I need SOME luxury)..... And I don't wanna spend that much moola, so I'm thinking and thinking and thinking....
Then, since I've NEVER done the camper's wheel-bearings... Me thinks that's next on the list...........

When I camp.......
Well I'm pretty much stuck to "factory working" times, so It's only December and when the long weekends run sequentially with a weekend. Taking unpaid leave plays hell with my cash-flow and I get into moerse trouble with that other guy that lives in my head, the financial director.....
But that's why I've got my weekend holiday retreat .... (where I get waited on hand and foot for morning early till bar-closing time) I go there and camp
Other than that I'm always camping..... If I'm scratching round at the flea-market / rubbish dump.... Making things.... planning / making todo lists and posting on kampblad forum.... It's all camping to me.....

here is a photo of my weekend get away hidy-hole, the path from where I park under my carport to my bosveldt spa bath where I have summertime midnight borrel bad soo groot die borres dek somme alles.... Plante insluitend..... That irrigation pipe is the "solar heater' and I get a constant flow of water so hot that I can't hold my hand under the tap... Woks like a bomb.... Anyway, ek't die hele plek somme self aanmekar gekap en uitgele en paatjies gemaak..... Dink ek gaan so hele klom photo's oppi facebook ding gaan plaas......

However, you do not camp when you go to your retreat in Brits. So, when do you plan to go camping again, with all the intentions, as mentioned above? Or are you going there for your end of year holiday this year. Scruffy won't like that!
