Ok, so my hiking cart is finished, here are the photos as promised
From this, the original golf cart in Cash Converters

To this, A re-purposed as a back-pack trolley

To this ------Yaaaay hands free carting ! finally ![]()

To this, as a backpack with the cart on the pack. There is still a bit of "mooi-maak" noodig, mostly about the wheels, I'm going to try for bigger bicycle wheels then work on attaching them to the inside of the main frame. But, as it is, it's 100 % functional.
As a day pack (minus sleeping; Tent & trolley) Weight 8Kg
As an overnight pack weight 15.5Kg (with trolley) - That I can just carry on my back
I have also upgraded my tent from a pegged tent to a free-standing tent so I don't need a hammer head & pegs.
Only bit of gear missing from the pics is my hiking sponge mat which I will strap to the top of the back-pack

Very nice Warren, now you…
Very nice Warren, now you should be ready for a day out.
Just curious, are you photos taken withna cellphone, and if so, maybe you should ask the photographer to turn the phone "length wise" upright. That could be the reason your photos are laying horizontal, I am not sure, just guessing?
